About this event

Cities are re-imagining how technology and data can support the growing pressures and opportunities presented by climate change, population, and energy. The panel will discuss the experiences of future-forward cities, as they leverage technologies (or smart city concepts) to optimize service delivery, effectively manage resources, and strengthen citizen engagement and participation. This panel will provide a space to share and reflect on experiences to solve community challenges that aim to enable residents to live in more resilient, sustainable, and connected environments.

  • Laurie Guthrie (Civic Innovation Strategist, City of Fredericton, NB)
  • Andreas Boehm (Intelligent Cities Manager, City of Kelowna, BC)
  • Devin LaFleche (Community Connectivity Advisor, Town of Cochrane, AB)

Moderator: Matthew Claudel

The Community Solutions Network is designed to help communities build service area capacity and improve the lives of residents using data and connected technology approaches.
