Maynard Angus, the founder of Indigenous Canada Solutions (ICS), formerly Indigenous-Corporate Solutions, links corporate and Indigenous cultures to common ground. ICS services Indigenous and corporate communities in British Columbia and Alberta.

Before establishing ICS, Mr. Angus introduced, initiated and managed a $12M Community Investment Fund Program for the Prince Rupert Port Authority for 14 years. As part of managing the fund, Mr. Angus oversaw the marketing, community engagement and vetting process of all community proposals submitted for funding. In addition, Mr. Angus developed program criteria for the fund and implemented processes leading up to the approvals of all applications. Mr. Angus was the founding and operating manager of the Community Futures Development Corporation in Prince Rupert. Mr. Angus worked with governments and communities to support community projects deemed legacy projects.  

Mr. Angus received his education from Royal Roads University in Leadership Management and Public Relations Management, including Crisis Management and Strategic Communication. Mr. Angus is currently a member of The Conference Board of Canada’s Council on Corporate Indigenous Relations, the president of Gingolx Enterprise Ltd., Chair of Northern Native Broadcasting, a past President of Prince Rupert & District Chamber of Commerce, a past Director of the Canadian Manufacturers and Exporters, Community Futures Development Corporation, Northern Corridor Development Corporation, and First Nations Technology Council.
