My Future Home Forum: Aspirational Visions for a Just Housing Future

By Evergreen

How might we aspire to live in 2040? What types of dwellings and environments will we call “home”? What will change, and what might stay the same? This animated conversation brought together participants of My Future Home workshop series as they shared their aspirational visions for the future.

What should be incorporated into today’s innovative housing solutions? To answer this question, Evergreen hosted the My Future Home Forum workshop series, gathering insights based on lived experience from youth, newcomers to Canada, and older adults. In this session, Lesley Herstein moderates a discussion with session participants who share their aspirational visions for the future. A panel representing Evergreen, Meridian and CMHC responds to the findings from the My Future Home Forum Global Report, and together participants discuss how the private, public, and community sectors might respond now to collectively create a better and more just housing future for Canadians.
