This webinar is part of the Open Smart Fundamentals: Community Solutions Webinar Series, which features six webinars on key topics for open smart cities.
First, Bianca Wylie of Tech Reset Canada talked about the importance and challenges of public engagement in open smart cities. Next, Geoff Zakaib of Civic Tech Calgary presented on the role and value of civic tech, and how to foster civic tech for open smart cities.
The remaining time (approximately 30 minutes) was reserved for questions and answers.
