Getting Started Round Stage 2

Resources to support Stage 2 applicants.

The applications are now closed. Congratulations to all applicants. It has been a pleasure supporting you through this incubation period! 

The resources below will remain available to applicants during the implementation period.  

Evergreen will be monitoring the support email or voicemail periodically after June 15, 2022. Please direct your questions about the Housing Supply Challenge, your application and future participation to CMHC at challenge@cmhc.ca.

Note that these templates are not locked. You can modify them as needed for your project. Please double check the totals and timelines before submission.

Community Mapping Workshop

Presented by Evergreen, the Community Mapping Workshop focused on helping you identify and prioritize your key actors. This interactive workshop included a mix of presentations, brainstorming and discussion in breakout rooms. Teams helped each other identify potential gaps and bias in their community maps and reflected on the importance of engaging with community members to create human-centred solutions.

Community Engagement Workshop

Presented by Evergreen and facilitated by Ayana Webb, the Community Engagement Workshop offered best-practices in community engagement that centres anti-oppressive practices to ensure solutions prioritize under-served and impacted communities. The workshop focused on helping shortlisted teams in Round 2 of the Housing Supply Challenge define their engagement requirements and create a community engagement plan.

Communications Workshop

Presented by Evergreen with support from Firefly Junction Inc., this virtual workshop is an opportunity for all shortlisted applicants to gain experience in different communications methods and techniques, and build confidence in applying different communications tools moving forward, into the final Stage 2 application and beyond.
