Module 1: Defining your Minimum Viable Solution
Module 1 introduces a tactical approach to planning the implementation of your project that involves defining “minimum viable solutions” (MVS) – smaller components of your overall solution that can be delivered with minimal resources while still creating impact and setting yourself up for long-term success. The module includes an example of how to break down a complex project into a series of MVS components and tips for how to define minimum viable solutions for your project.
Module 2 provides guidance on managing risk, building in resilience, and establishing readiness while planning for your project to thrive beyond Stage 3 implementation. The module introduces the delivery roadmap tool to help you sequence and plan the execution and release of your MVS solution components. The tool helps you identify the key activities and critical dependencies that are required to deliver the various stages and components of your solution, while ensuring alignment with your team on things such as success criteria, key features, required resources and the timing that MVS release can happen.
