Reimagining Public Spaces
This suite of toolkits explores the potential of public spaces to meet the unique challenges of communities, and to better address diverse needs within them.
The Reimagining Public Spaces toolkits are intended to prompt municipalities and Indigenous communities to consider new possibilities for their outdoor public spaces with respect to:
- New shared mobility transportation options, such as e-bikes;
- Accessible public spaces, such as parks, beaches and playgrounds;
- Climate resilience in public spaces with the help of technology-based tools;
- Green energy solutions in public spaces.
This suite of toolkits was produced in 2022-23 by the Community Solutions Network, a program led by Evergreen with technical partner Open North.
