Building projects from the ground up: Q&A with Temo Cruz

Future City Builders engages 150 youth aged 18-29 in five Canadian cities: Vancouver, Calgary, Hamilton, Toronto and Halifax. The focus is to create and launch innovative ideas that would address resiliency issues in their cities.

Temo Cruz is a co-lead for the program in Hamilton. Some of the initiatives that he finds most exciting are the small-scale pilot projects that allow neighbours and community members to build something from the ground up, creating a more sustainable and long-lasting solution.
